When working with a custom or semi-custom home builder, you have a chance to create the home of your dreams. There are many major details to think of - your ideal kitchen, the layout of your master bathroom - and many, many more finer details. Choosing the correct base options for your overall design goals can be very overwhelming and it can be very difficult to visualize using a small sample of a particular style or design in the space you are filling. This is where we come in. Our expert eye and keen ability to visualize styles and designs in your home will remove the stress of potentially ending up with something that you don't like or expect. Our goal is to help you navigate builder's design centers and choose the styles and designs that best fit your overall design goals for your new home. Our goal is to minimize the stress and uncertainty in the selection process at the design center.
Our New Build Interior Design Assistance includes:
1. An initial consultation and review of the floor plan of your new home. This is where we will get to know each other and I learn what your design goals are for your new home. I will go over the floor plan with you and assist with creating specific design goals for each room based on your builders available options.
2. Meetings at your builders design centers to assist you in choosing builder provided options for your home. This is where we help you pick options that will best suit the overall design goals of your new home. This may also include meetings with your builders trade contractors. (i.e. electrical company - for lighting , outlets, low voltage, etc.)
3. We will monitor and report back to you about the installation of the options you have chosen at the home site to ensure they are aesthetically correct and of good workmanship.
